About Me
I started doing graphic design work in 1988. I took a graphic arts class in high school. The class was really a job working the our school district's printing shop. I knew how to use a Mac better than they did so I taught myself Pagemaker and then learned everything from layout to running an offset printing press.
I continued working in print shops after I graduated and earned my degree in Graphics and Commercial art. But in the summer of 1995 I began doing more on the computers with multimedia. I enjoyed making interactive CD's, simple games, and drawing on the computer.
I started working at Utah Valley State College in 1996 as a multimedia designer. I became interested in web design because it offered a lot of freedom I didn't have in the print world. I taught myself how to do html and everything else inbetween. I love working with computers so that helps, but when I found out how easy it was to create a web page I was hooked.
While I hope my career is far from over the ride thus far has been an incredible experience. I have worked with truly gifted people and learned more from them than anything else. The sites I have created are a reflection of my passion and desire to do excellent work.
I enjoy designing, drawing, watching movies, and learning about new technologies. Sometimes I get asked where I come up with ideas for designs or drawings. I have been fortunate to have a life that provides me with daily inspiration. My wonderful little family is my biggest source of inspiration and support.
